Propaganda-Plakat der Volksrepublik China, um 1969. Farbiger Druck auf dünnem Papier, 74x53cm, etwas falzig und fleckig, minime Läsuren, etwas tabakrüchig, sonst gut. Mittig ein Mao-Zitat in chinesischen Schriftzeichen.
Auf einem maschinenschriftlichen Zettel (der dem Angebot nicht beiliegt) zum Plakat steht: „Quotation from Chairman Mao Tse-Tung: We must all learn the spirit of absolute self-lessness from him. With this spirit everyone can be very useful to the people. A man’s ability may be great or small, but if he has this spirit, he is already noble-minded and pure, a man of moral integrity and above vulgar interests, a man who is of value to the people. Im Memory of Norman Bethune, Dec. 21 1930.” Das Plakat erstand ein deutscher Ingenieur um 1969 in einem „Friendship-store“ im damals britischen Hong Kong.
